Landscape Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Landscape Salesman to join our team. The Landscape Salesman will be responsible for identifying and securing new landscaping projects, developing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the design and installation process. This role combines sales expertise with knowledge of landscaping practices to deliver tailored solutions to residential or commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and site visits

• Meet with potential clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences

• Provide on-site assessments and recommend appropriate design and service solutions

• Prepare and present project proposals, estimates, and contracts

• Work closely with design and installation teams to ensure project specifications meet client expectations

• Follow up with clients throughout the project and after completion to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of landscaping trends, materials, and pricing

• Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in landscaping, construction, or related industries

• Strong knowledge of landscape design, horticulture, and outdoor construction practices

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to read blueprints or landscape plans is a plus

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in horticulture, landscape design, or business is a plus
